Don't know what happened with my post above! Should read:

Looking to buy an OEM hardtop stand.

Please PM with any inquiries.

Thanks!

I had a stand and then built a hoist. You can take the top off and put it on alone with a hoist. Total cost of the hoist is about $20 in parts including a $8 bicycle hoist as the foundation.

Thanks, hecash! I really appreciate you posting up that diagram. Solid design. Great for single-handed removal/replacement, too.

I'm looking for the stand though, as that's what best fits my needs now.

My S is in a classic car storage garage, so no drilling into the ceiling.

Also, it'll be up for sale soon, so it would be great to have something easily movable to provide to the next owner for hardtop management.

The $40 40 minute PVC stand is worth $400 IMHO.

Is it the OEMness that you need or do you want / need a functioning hard top stand?

Hey freq- It's the OEMness. I'm a sucker for OEM. :-) But, I have been looking at the PVC stand thread(s).
