I've been lucky to find some Bridgestone RE-11's that are back in production in Ap1 sizing, I don't think they are available in ap2 sizing though. I think they are a nice blend of performance and tread life, plus they are asymmetric and I can rotate them side to side which is nice. My last trip to the Dragon I had RE-760's on the front and S0-2's on the rear, it was not a very good combination and the RE760's weren't up for the challenge unfortunately, so front end traction was a handful. My new rubber will be a nice step up.

Seems like many people in Ap2 sizing like the Dunlops or Hankooks but I have not experience with them.

Just get the star spec and be done with the tires. Add some Carbotech AX-6 brake pads and that will take care of any brakes up there. Later BD

The new indy tires do look like an updated iteration of the RE-11's, with a higher treadwear rating, pricing is pretty attractive.

So based on your earlier conversations, is this the intended route for Saturday?

Or is this it?

Or maybe something else all together? haha

I'm already signed up for a Saturday group but I have some friends who are interested in joining a group so I'm just trying to figure out where you guys are going.

Thanks!

I expect MattsS (Martin) to be joining us, but he doesn't post here very much.
