Wonderful weekend!
Thank you guys for organizing a brilliant meeting! It was fantastic! Perfect weather, perfect cars, perfect and funny routes! A weekend to remember forever, and a weekend I wish would never end.
But sadly for me and my girlfriend, we had to take a plane home from Nurnberg this morning. Yesterday on the Autobahn something happend when CMN and we were on the way home to Norway... My car lost power gearing from 5th to 6th. Something hit me under/in the wheelarch, some seconds later my engine blew, and caught fire. I think my rearwheels blocked, and I turned and slide 360 degrees on the Autobahn, and out on a "raststatt". Luckily nothing happen to me or my girlfriend, no damage on the outer parts of the beloved S, or anyone else. Police, ambulance and the firedepartment came, and now my car is at ADAC. I have no clue what could be wrong, or when I get my car back to Norway.
One thing I do know, is that we were extremely lucky! The S will probably need a new engine and a gearbox though...

Like TwentyFour said, it has been a great weekend in so many ways! I'm very happy I made it down there!
Very sad it ended like it did though!... But with no doubt, you guys where very lucky! We had just a bit more than 200kmh when I suddenly saw a huge cloud of dark smoke in my mirror, and no red S2000 anymore. We (my passenger and I) got really worried there! We pulled over right away and thought you maybe had crashed or something... Thankfully we got to know you guys were alright! Wasn't as fun to drive back home as it was to drive down there though.

Thanks guys! We are extremely happy that nothing happened to us, and that no others were harmed.
Stocky: We came back to Norway today, but the car is at an impound at Erlangen outside Nurnberg. I have to get some more info from my insurance-company tomorrow, to find out the next steps, and evt. who pays for what. If I have to pay things myself, I have tought of getting it fixed in Germany. Norway is not the country to get a new S engine... So for the moment, i have to wait for the insurance-companys decision.
