Default Bucket List Quest To Out Of State Track

Since I bought the S2 five years ago, I've been trying to go to a new track every year. Last year I didn't make it to a new track mostly because I took a half a year off running the car. Its time to get busy living so I'm in the beginning stages of planing an out of state trip to Barber Motorsports Park. If anyone would like to join me we could make it a group trip supporting each other and sharing some of the cost. If others wanted to make a community event out of it, I would also consider going back to RA even though I have already been there four years ago. Some of you have expressed interest in a RA trip but are concerned about not having tow vehicle capability. These trips are more about seeing the country and learning a new and epic track and not chasing TT numbers. Besides that, shit happens even if you don't push too hard and trouble is of course a possibility. Im prepared for any outcome so that's what makes the trip possible.

Barber 2015
Tentatively this is the weekend I would choose first due to my history with NASA.
Oct 31st- Nov 1st NASA Mid South Championship Weekend
Registration options for participants include: Racing, Time Trial, HPDE 1-4, Transponder Rental, Supersize to TT (for those racers who also wish to participate in Time Trial), Tech Inspection, Instructors, Officials, Camping, and Waiting List.

I'd love to do Barber. Not likely to happen anytime soon though..

Laguna Seca is the one I'd really like to do, but realistically I'll never have my car out on the west coast.

I would be in Jeff but am signed for your NASA Daytona on 10/31-11/1

Barber is high on my list to go to. Look into roebling too. Not as nice as barbers facilities but is a fun track.

I would really like to do Barber... This year I may just do NOLA with Flatout Oct 17th-18th. It looks like a great track as well.

I'd like to make it back to Braselton (RA.) Considering my car is more 'street' ... I'd probably be better off just driving up there in it and opting for the Skip Barber driving on the track ... and then testing my car car on the roads north of Braselton (i.e. the Dragon )

I too want to make it to Barber one day. I have a few friends who race there on bikes and cars ... and none of them come back disappointed.

Good luck with your list

It sure is especially after seeing Ian make the trip. Would also like to make a month out of it and be there for the 24 hours that went on last weekend. Congrats to Audi on that one. They wont be able to make enough of the new R8 GT3. Dont think anyone needs to leave the country to experience great tracks. We have some of the finest tracks in the world and the places you see on the journey to are all part of the experience. Best country in the world.

I'd love to bro. However, Taylor Swift has those dates already booked for me.
