Will my stock S2000 survive? I'm guessing pads and maybe brake lines at a minimum?

Actually brake fluid is minimum. Pads are a good idea.

Lines are a good idea but you should be fine for your 1st few events.

I would still recommend a set of full track/race pads. This weekend was my student in a 2005 Honda S2000's first weekend on track. He installed all new rotors, the new Hawk Street Race pads, stainless lines, and Wilwood brake fluid. He was on crappy all season tires and we still got those brake pads out of their heat comfort zone at Road Atlanta. Everyone's first few events will be different. Some pick up speed quicker than others. My advice is always to bring more brakes then you think you will ever need.

I would second this advice.
I remember my first track weekend (8-9 years ago now) and I too asked around and was informed that I should be fine on the stock braking components for the first "few" outings. I swapped in fresh fluid with a higher boiling point and made sure there was plenty of pad and away I went with a huge smile on my face happy that I had such a "capable" car from the factory.
The weekend went pretty well I thought, with nothing more than some increasing brake zones but never a "long" pedal. All in all I was pretty happy.
The next weekend I decided to inspect the brakes and though there was pad material left it had all "baked" at the track and crumbled off the backing plates with almost no resistance to my fingers.
I was very lucky to have not had an incident that could have been bad for not only me and my car, but also my instructor and perhaps another (or several other) driver(s). Always consider your fellow drivers and instructors at the track and err on cautions side whenever you think you should. You want to come home wit the same smile on your face you showed up with. The organizers also want oyu to continue to come back and support them. A good experience will (almost) guarantee that.

Only my2 cents worth

HPDE Requirements on NASA's site state "roll bars in convertible autos." Is this the case? I do not have a roll bar yet--just hardtop.
