I am in the Fort Myers area looking for someone reputable to help me basically rebuild a new (used) bare block. I have all new parts that are needed and will need some old parts swapped over. I need this then reinstalled into the motor and put back in the car. I also have new clutch to be installed. The entire motor and transmission along with the axle was dropped from the car with plans to tear down and rebuild due to a deep scratch in a cylinder wall. Needless to say, my now EX decided to not only leave it unfinished, but decided to destroy the exterior of the car as a going away gift for me. I desperately need someone that knows about S2k's to help me with this. If you are able to do this kind of job or if you can refer me to somebody who can, I would greatly appreciate it. I need to get my baby back in the road asap. Thanks!!!

Only shop I can think of on the West Coast is LHT Performance in the Tampa / St Pete area.

Also contact Andres @ KAB Customs, they do quite a bit of S2000 stuff around here.

Definitely worth a couple of calls and a few extra bucks to get LHT involved. Their quality is well known among several groups and I believe they've been around for more than 15 years. John has been a great contributor and supporter of the S2Ki community as well.
