Default FI and EM DIY and FAQ

Hopefully this will make accessing DIY's and FAQ's much easier.

Let me know if there's a DIY or FAQ you'd like me to add.

I have searched and found a few good picture heavy turbo install DIY's but I can't quite seem to find a complete one. I would love an end-all be-all DIY on Turbo installations. Thanks

Not all turbo setups are the same. There can be pretty large differences from kit to kit. So unless someone made a DIY with every kit on the market (and every combination of turbochargers for that kit), it still wouldn't be a comprehensive DIY.

For Example:

Some kits require notching the frame, some don't
Some require relocation of the battery and fuse box, some don't
Water cooled turbo's will have a different install than oil cooled ones

And that's just to list a few items that could be different.

I have a few universal questions.
Where to tap into for your water cooling?
-although not all turbo's are water cooled, since some various brands are, it wouldn't just benefit one turbo brand user to have this.

where would be a good location to tap into for your high pressure oil lines?

easy alternative for an oil return aside from putting a bung into the oil pan?

I have the feeling these subjects have been beat to death a few times, but this would be a good location for them imho
