ATTN: Rio Owners! Rio Paint Work Needed
I have a 2006 Rio Yellow, I'm looking to have my side strakes removed and have the hole from the factory that is used to mount them filled in and touched up. In other words, I need a shop that someone has used and can vouch for in their ability to match the color. My car has low miles so my original paint is pretty perfect still. Sadly though, the previous owner backed into a pole and had to have the rear bumper resprayed to cover the scuff it made. Whoever he had do it did pretty good as I cant tell the difference except in certain lighting it does appear to have more of a green tint to it. I want to avoid this. I want the job to be perfect. I don't care how much I get charged as long as I have peace of mind that I wont be able to see some greenish yellow poor quality job. I would also like to have that rear bumper redone at the same time and possibly my front lip.
Does anyone have a shop that they have used who can do this for me? I've talked with someone on here who did recommend a place in Atlanta (Performance Auto Collision) who has done a perfect match every time for him. However when I asked them to help me they said they wouldn't do the job because they don't do "custom" work. Basically I'd have to have damage done to my car for them to touch it.
I'm about 30 minutes south of the Airport in Atlanta. I don't care how far really, I'm willing to drive it somewhere far if I know beforehand they can do this!
Thanks for any help on this subject!
