Default Where are you getting safety checks?
My safety check guy retired, so I need a place for a slightly modified S (drop, intake, exhaust). Please PM me if you have a place you can recommend. Looks like I'm gonna need to find a license plate holder too

if you only have slight mods, then why not go legit and get recon? i passed no problem, yours should be fine too.

mccully service station was pretty easy. the guy doesn't even drive it like other places. can get crowded so first thing when they open is the best time

I don't think its on their check list. But I'm sure they will turn you away if its illegal.

They did test the tint the first time I went about 10 years ago. When I went last year, my car didn't have tint, so I can't confirm if they still do it.
