Just got finished installing a glass top on my '00. The entire install took about 10 hours and was fairly easy. There is no reason that anyone should buy a new frame if they would like a glass window on their 2000 or 2001. Two elastic & Two nylon bands riveted to the frame and the top folds nicely.
 I took detailed instructions and plenty of pictures of the entire install. I have converted them to PDF... A PDF Version of my instructions is available here: http://www.s2000.org/mods/top/s2k_glass_to...ructions_v2.pdf

A new '02 top will run about $800 from Jeff at Ganley Honda, S2Ki sponsor. Elastic, rivets, and tape is another $10.
I got my top from a club member for $500... |

Very cool. The more you guys do this, the braver I get. Actually, my local Honda service rep asked me to print out how you guys did it. He's called me three times asking for printed instructions from the site (I told him he should sign up here himself). Wonder what he'd charge me to be his guniea pig. Can't wait to see the pics and instr.

well guys if I can find someone to help me do the switch (I have an 02 with black top) to a 02 blue top I will be selling my black top. It is brand new as the car only has 1000 miles on it and it is garaged. Anyone local can come see it. Anyway if I can do the swap I will be selling. Congrats Clovis, you have done what Honda said could not be done.
Now lets get Honda in on this and help us finally be able to see better. Oh, and BTW, no Honda you can not make a profit on this.
