Now that I have Corbeau seats installed in my car, my stock seats are being disassembled so that patterns can be made for replacement leather seat covers. To install them, you would remove the stock leather and install ours.
Our plan, if all goes well, is to make laser cut, computer-controlled, machine-sewn kits available in a variety of colors, including stock as well as others not available from Honda. These can be installed on your seats by a local upholsterer of your choice. The leather, of course, will be premium Townsend Leather, the same used in all of our leather accessoires. This will provide an option for people who want premium leather or who want to change the colors of their seats. The kits could be mixed and matched, so that, for example, you could have red outer sections and black seating areas. We have no idea about price, but it will be a helluva a lot lower than buying replacement leather sections from Honda. have you looked into some variations in material? like neubuck (i think thats the correct spelling) a synthetic suade like material that gives better grip? this would be great on the part you actually sit on and the sides.

Rick, this is one of the few non-performance mods I would consider spending a few hundred bucks on! I think this is a GREAT idea.
Look to the BMW "M" line-up's two tone seats for inspiration |

Two-tone seats would be easy with this.
Yes, alternative materials would be made available such as the various artificial suedes now used in a number of high-end cars. |

Great. I think the leather Honda uses is horrible. I have a few small issues with mine and they are only a year old. They'll be worn out on the sides in just three years at this rate.

Assuming this all comes to pass, we will use only the very best leather and Alcantra will be an option. The covers will be made and assembled by a company that does replacement covers for Ferraris and other high-end performance cars. They'll use leather we supply.

if you do these could you make black seats, with red stitching likw in the ITR? Cuz i would be definately down for thoes. how bout shift boots, and door pannels, and center colsole covers to match!
