As some of you might know, I had to re-paint my front bumper because someone backed into me. Anyway, I always wanted to replace the fake lip with a genuine one, so I left my car at Park Collisions for three days. Here's the result.
I'm very happy with the work they've done to the car. The paint has a high gloss and minimum orange peel. The color matched better than factory as well. On top of that, they managed to fit the lip perfectly on the car. Thanks to Ben from AJR for the lip and shop recommendation. -------------------- ![]() |

Am I the only person who thinks S2K require front license on the bumper? Without it the air dam seem too big and way too happy (smiling).

The genuine Amuse lip has the best fitment. I miss it a lot. I'm still struggling to fit the urethane lip - it sucks big time! If someone back into my front I'll mold the lip onto the bumper

I always heard the genuine ones fit pretty bad. Maybe that's how people justify buying the fake ones.

its how you mount it makes a difference, a buddy of mine managed to get no gap with the amuse style as well, but its a lot of work.
I am selling mine for a new bumper, time for a change |

It's impossible to get a perfect fit with the urethane since it's longer than the bumper itself! there's like a good 2cm gap at the end. With the fibreglass at least it's tight, you can sand it to get it to wrap nicely. That's what I did with my previous lip. I'm just about giving up trying to get the urethane lip to fit.

Why did you get rid of your genuine lip? Was that the one that cracked and got sold to Rick?

im about to dump the urathane one too in favor of the OEM lip. at least i KNOW that WILL fit PERFECTLY.
i also read that the authentic amuse lip fit like ass, just like our urathane lips. so im assuming that was ALL WRONG?!?!?! the authentic amuse lip fits perfectly???

Charles, yes that's the one I sold to Rick. Should have kept it. It fits like a glove.
Just don't get the urathane amuse lip, the fibre glass knock off will fit just fine. |

Thank you. Cong: The fitment on my previous Amuse-style lip was far from "fine." |
