I have a hold on two dates - the only available this year - for an evening session. Friday 27 June or Thursday 21 August.
If you can let me know preference and likely numbers, will take a decision on viability

August here too.
Both dates are just before race weekends for me, so I might not be able to make either, but the August one is by far the more likely as the race 2 days later is at Silverstone which is close to home. --------------------

August would be better for me - can't confirm yet though as may be on holiday. san2000 - my insurance includes trackdays, i just have to inform them (Tesco)

Noony, Knockhill is included in TOCA Race Driver - or at least it is in the PS2 version, I think.

Noony (and anyone else who would like it).
I can photocopy my circuit guide for Knockhill and bring it to SM3, just PM me if you want a copy. The Circuit Guide is a corner by corner dissection of all the UK circuits, each corner is broken down into approach, apex, exit and an overall description, with the best lines and any alternatives also shown in a diagram. Not being able to afford a test day at every track I race at, it's all I have to learn most circuits, but it's very good and I haven't fallen off too badly anywhere so far. Anyone not going to SM3, PM me with your address and I'll post a copy. |

Got PM from sealgrey420. We are booked in at Knockhill 21/8/03. Can't wait, and having spent the day at Oulton Park watching the 750 motor club meet I'm really up for it now. I'll have to make do playing TOCA Touring Cars for now. Can anyone point me at accomadation near Knockhill for 1 night ?? Looking for cheap and cheerful but safe parking. Cheers. Noony. |

It would help me if anyone still wants to go the Knockhill track night on the 21st could confirm. Track time will be 6-8pm but people would need to be there for about 5pm for safety briefing etc. I will arrange for Gordon Shedden, BTCC winner, British Ford Fiesta champion and currently lying third in the Seat Cupra championship, to be available if anyone wants shown round the circuit. Cost will be a heavily subsidised £30. I have a slight problem in that accepted my free place on the AMG course at MIRA the following morning (it came with the car and forgot about the KH date) and don't fancy trying to get there for 9am. However, if people are up for it I will make all the necessary arrangements. I might have some Elise owners to make up the numbers (would like to get around 20)
