I'm using the one provided by Honda - it's OEM! Take the oil pan off and there it is.

Is there some reason you want a different designed baffle? I've not experienced or read about oil pickup problems even in cars that are on the track regularly.

The spoon and Mugen oil pans are OEM oil pans that is fitted with baffles to prevent oil pressure drop due to oil shifting caused by centrifugal forces.
I was just wondering if anyone had designed their own baffle?

Think what you like. The reality is that YES the stock, OEM, provided for FREE by Honda oil pan has a baffle in it. I am not aware of any problems with oil pickup on track-driven cars. Perhaps there is room for improvement, but I am not aware of it.

Neither Kit nor I are saying that Mugen and Spoon are just reselling unmodified OEM pans, they probably do install a different design baffle. The question remains - Why do you want to do it? Is there some problem that you're experiencing? If so we DO want to know about it.

No there is no problem with the current set up.... I am just in the middle of researching on the best setup for an FI application... Because of an inrease in centrifugal forces when FI is applied to a car... some members have managed to spun their bearing....
Being that the Aftermarket oil pans are much higher in price if compared to the stock oild pan... I was just wondering if anyone had attempted to create a new baffle similar to MUGEN/Spoon....
Thats all.....

The stock oil pan does not have a baffle in it. It has a splash shield which is different thing and serves a different purpose.

No -- not crazy.

Does this list have any experiences that say we need baffled pans? If so, I also would be interested in any homebrew experience. The factory splash shield should provide a good platform for mounting brackets, baffles, swinging doors, and so on. That said, building an effective baffled pan is not easy to do well, and you don't know that it's done poorly until it doesn't matter any more.
