Yeah, they're talking about looks as well. The prelude isn't very aesthetically pleasing. It has strange front headlights and is boxy.

stock s2000 looks 10x better in my opinion, and don't even get me started on s2000's with nice external mods.... --------------------

I prefer the 4th gen in the looks department. The no convertable look with nice fender bumps...

I can't believe this thread got posted. What's worse, I can't believe people are replying to it with honest answers.

I've owned both. I think the S looks better as a roadster. The 5th gen is aging nicely and has a little more "character" to it however... the S has the sex appeal of a roadster, but it still basically looks like a Miata.
The Prelude really needed to be a convertible. I'd have taken a 5th gen Prelude convertible over the S were it on the basis of looks. |

Whatever. Many were owning and enjoying Preludes back when some of the current teenage S2000 owners were in 2nd grade. |

I'm not sure either why this question was asked, but the S2000 CREAMS the Prelude (all years) in the looks department.
Personally, I have never owned a fourth-gen Prelude, but after driving a couple and testing them against older third-gen examples, I'd rather have a third- or fifth-gen. The fourth-gen ones felt really crappy by comparison, and almost Camaro-ish with the huge hood and low driving position. I thought I'd like that goofy dashboard too until I saw it at night...what a puke-monster. Any present company accepted of course. |

Uhhh...Why did you call my name? And your post doesn't make sense. "Pink!"
You have got to be kidding, right? Preludes handle very nicely for a FWD, but compared to an S on a track? You have got to be kidding! Stop smoking them weeds, kiddie! Handling: S2K = 10, Prelude SH = 7. Looks: S2K = 10, Prelude = 6. Of course, we're only talking about the two cars. |
