Hmm.. some how I don't believe this, especially on a dyno.

My MG Racing CAI is still on backorder. For me it was deciding that I was driving behind a fellow S2000 with the MG Racing CAI and he simply pulled away from me! It was really amazing that he pulled at least 10 carlengths going from 40KMH (25MPH) to 180KMH (110MPH). Especially in VTEC domain it was humiliating. Personally I'd rate the difference (conservatively) between 0-25 HP depending on RPM and Speed (but no I don't have any proof). This was a pretty convincing test to me. I'd rate the MG Racing above Spoon or Mugen, mainly because there's no cutting involved. But also the fact that the Spoon version takes the air in front of the radiator, effectively reducing the radiator capacity. Which is already marginal in spirited driving conditions when you have a front license plate (which is required in Europe). An extra bonus is that the sound is quite nice too, especially VTECcing in a tunnel sounded great!

Ronald, there is no cutting involved for the Spoon CAI.

TCS2K,

I'm using the MG CAI and it works realy good, like Ronald said you can feel the extra power and the sound is great.

Victor,

What Ronald means is that you hace to remove(cut) the black plastic cover on top of the radiator.

Thanks Pancho,

that was exactly what I meant. The plastic is not replacable, as I understood. For me a big reason: to be able to restore the car in stock condition.

What is the website for this carbon fiber intake?
Does anyone have a dyno for it?
