Hey guys just got my overlays put on yesterday and took some pics today. The overlays came from Sticker City in Van Nuys, CA. They look great IMO. I tried to do the install myself but the kit came out to short so they did a custom one. I believe the kit is for the AP1 cars if there is a difference. The AP2's have the bump on the tail light do the AP1's have it too? Anyway tell me what you think.

What are those made of?
Is that tint or plastic cover? --------------------

Its made of vynil (sp?). Its fairly thick about 1/16 in so it wont tear and its sticks like there is no tomorrow. Its a good product all the 350Z, G35, Evo people use them a lot.

Any idea of how this would look on a Berlina Black?
I think it looks NICE on the silver, if I had a silver I would do this ASAP |

I think it would look great on Black. I like the contrast against the silver though.

Both the AP1 and AP2's have the bump in the back. Looks good. So this is a sticker on the outside of the tailight?

What about smoked headlights? Same idea- just a film over it. Will this hurt the lighting in any way?

I wouldnt do this on headlights. The light output will significantly decrease IMO. They do a light blue film over it or you can get yellow. |

yes, seen it on the same belina...doesn't look that great...its just like black through out im not sure if it effects the lighting in away...but your putting a black film over light so i'm assuming it does. |

Ewww.....smoked tails were hot back in early mid 90s...
Not in 2005. However.. It should look better if tint was very "light" tint.(prob. still wont do it.) --------------------

Why? because I like the way it looks. Just like some people like to put big a$$ wings and outrageous body kits on an othererwise beautiful car and call it "JDM bling". Different strokes for different folks.   |
