As you can see, the EVO jumped on the start, but already in the middle of 2nd (or 3rd for him ) he gets toasted badly. Why the f$%k is the GT3 so fast? When I raced him without a passanger, he pulled 3 cars on me from 0-200kmh.
And when I raced a 2005 911 Carerra yesterday, he got murdered in the middle of 4th, I had 2 cars on him. Is the GT3 owner playing dirty dirty or what?????Man he pulls like there is no tomorrow

fast? it's like 3 times faster than I dreamed in my wildest dreams ....We already gave up at 220ish kmh (140mph) but he just kept on pulling like he was late for work...crazy !!!time for 14psi

hahha, the GT3 is a non-turbo 911 that has been NA tuned almost to the level of a turbo model... they pull 12-flat on stock tires. ive heard of owners pulling mid 11s with exhaust and drag tires. they claim 380hp, but porsche is notorious for underrating lower models, as to not cut into sales of a higher model (GT2 in this case)

the gear ratios, and such have been tuned with no regard for daily-drivability. i had the rare privilage of driving one this summer, its just sheer madness.

The owner called me this morning and I asked him if the car is stock and he told me it is...go imagine some ECU job & exhaust. This car is way to fast to fcuk with, if you see one, don't even try!

Go find someone with a modified 996TT and have him take you for a spin. My friend has one with about 800-900 in his. His 3rd gear pulls like my 1st gear. Stupid fast.

A lot of dynoes of the GT3 are about 360 whp. Definitely underrated. Closer to 400-420 hp at the crank.

Is a GT3 faster than a standard 2005 Corvette? I mean the NON z06 one...

From most of the standardized tests..yes. GT3 is a low 12 sec. car. New C6 is a mid 12 sec. car. Just a bit faster, hence I think Porsche is underrating these cars. You gon't pull 350-360 whp on a dyno from a 380 hp at the crank rated car. Not to mention you don't pull 12.2-12.3's from them either.

...My 05' C6 just recently put down 358 whp 352 tq. That is after CAI and some tuning...Plus the GT3 is about 300# lighter than my C6...C6 is fast.....GT3,Z06 Crazzzzzyy fast.

I don't know how much your C6 weighs, but the 05 GT3 weighs 3043lbs. I doubt your C6 tips the scale at 3300+lbs. Even though the GT3 puts out 380hp, but it *only* puts out 284tq.

My C6 weighs 3150 with 1/2 tank gas I thought the GT3's were a little lighter at 28xx?

I have a video from Best Motoring where they drag race different types of NSX and also come up with a standard GTR34 VS GT3 and the GT3 looses to the stock GTR34 with a mid 13s 1/4...what a BS...and they run low 12s with all sort of NSX models..it takes a real morron to run mid or high 13s with a GT3 after what I have witnessed.

GT3 is crazy. I think the older version was the first production car to lap the 'Ring in under 8 minutes.
