the fuel rail comes with in less than a 1/4 inch from the plenum allowing zero space for the fuel lines to go. And even if we ran new line the FPR won't fit in any orreintation. And the mounting studs are way to short to hold the fuel rail down. Were talking to full race right now for help. If any of you guys have any ideas please please post asap.

Personaly if I were runnign this mani I would use a side feed fuel line for better flow and a return in the middle

not really feeling the 2-tone paint job but I like the turbo setup and the front. The moded airwalker front lip and the removal of the vents are very unique. put that baby on the dyno, curious to see what it makes with your homemade manifold. thumbsup.gif

Hi...
I wanted to comment on the paint job but I didn't earlier..
Anyway Here it goes...
Is Quite Unique and that's the Strong point about it...
I didn't notice that you have closed the Vents before but that's great.I actually started a tread about this Asking if anybody has done this since I saw a video of the Beta S2000 tested at Nurburnring and I saw that it had panels over the Fake Vents and I Instantly liked it...So I started asking if anybody did it and apparently nobody did so I did it maybe 7 months ago and my car has all stock look except the Closed vents and I like it and its a NFR.
The Strong point in your Car that I like is that the rear Fenders are Wide and you don't have a Panel Over it its just Straight FAT Clean look..
I would Suggest one thing Dow...I hope you Are not Offended..Dump The Wheels you have, drop that light Racing Wheel Look and Put on a 19 Inch 5 spoke that has the spokes Ending on the outer Lip so they Fill the Wheel Holes Full and Get a Great look that you need with that Fat rear end..Dump any wheel that Actually doesn't state its Size and put Big looking wheels.and even if you want Racing ones maybe you can look at the Kosei K3 that are quite good and they are I think available in light Silver or Chameleon Gold(are on the edge of Racing and Big looking). Nothing Better than a Big Wheel and Some Fat Rubber on the end (275 or 285)that I thing what you want for that Turbo to have traction on...
Anyway how much did it cost you to do the paint job and did you put a Scratch-resistant Clearcoat on that thing? Or Something like PPG CeramiClear?
Later and good luck finishing the job.

Here are Some Pictures Testing How it looks and the Finished Job

thanks on the comment. those wheels looked really good when the car was silver now not really but my next investment it will be inlinepro's rear end and i'm gonna be running some really lwide tires in the rear.

Well man,I cant believe you didn't have the car to drive for the last 4-5 months...And you have gone in quite a bit of trouble and much of it couldn't be fixed by you.
I couldn't imagine how you felt when you saw the car few weeks after few weeks and not be able to drive it.I can say from experience that maybe 2-3 weeks i could resist the WANT of driving the S2000 but after that you want to drive it more and more and its painful...
...I have few questions about the IM..
these are in case you took measurements..or maybe Hypertune can answer, its great when there is Manufacturer support.
First. How Long are the runners? What's the Size of them In Width? And how deep or how long is the space between the start of the runner and the Plenum Wall. I see that the plenum Wall isn't Straight. and the length i am asking about will be different in all runners. I Measured Stock is 25cm deep and that's around 10".The runners on stock are 18-19cm and their width is 52mm which is around 2".They are Oval as you know and the width is on the oval points. Also are the runners round or oval on the HT?
anyway i know that our OEM plenum is designed this way-short runners small plenum to function good at high RPM and that Honda engineers dumped the Variable IM Type in Favor of the short Runner/plenum.
it seems that this manifold is designed for use With boost and wouldn't Do much Good on Stock NA and possibly will loose power. Large plenum is probably Known Boost positive...And i don't know what will this IM do for SC Setup.Probably turbo only? Since SC relies on NA characteristic till 3-4000Rpm and doesn't see that much boost till the last 2-3000Rpms.At least stock boost SC.
I think the main reasons they didn't test the IM because it cant loose any ponies when boost is in the Equation, and i think that NA is another story, since air doesn't get forced in to the Engine.
I hope everything works out and was worth it. I am installing mine CF IM on the car and was thinking how the maker didn't make a IACV flange on the IM and that can be fixed tomorrow by me,but other than that everything went Quite fine like it was stock. The only problem i have now is with the BDL TB that matches the Port of the CF manifold that doesn't have a Second Hole for the IACV valve to get the air. The BDL doesn't have two IACV holes like the Stock TB but has only the upper hole and the CF manifold has the lower hole.So i plan to make another hole on the BDL TB.
And few words on the HONDATA gasket. I found out when i took it off that it is a bad copy of the Stock Gasket and it doesn't match Good to the Head opening and OEM IM opening.Somewhere its bigger and somewhere it stands out and hurting airflow and not by a little. It has to be trimmed to be Good as the OEM gasket so in the end i urge all Hondata "TO Be" users of the Hondata Gasket to compare it to the Stock gasket and make any Necessary Adjustments to it so it wouldn't hurt Airflow.(i didn't do this when i installed it since i Thought it was an Exact copy of the Stock Gasket which it isn't.)

Cheers

Alrighty let me try this:

the runners are round, and as for the measurements idk at this point but i'll try to figure them out for you.

Where did you find a CF intake????

And i'm going to trim the gasket if it needs it when i do the head gasket seeing as there should be a deffinitive line where i need to trim by then.

By the sounds of the botched HYPERTUNE design , dont think many are having much luck in getting these going . There are a few problems of them cracking as well .

Nice looking manifold though , pitty bout the down sides . egads.gif
