well i dunno... during peak hours i'd say the g35 would win

well I have never been against the G35 coupe but the sedan has nothing for the S2 I beat my dad by 3 1/2 cars so I know the S2 can handle the sedan easily

I had one try me, revving his engine getting all cocky with me. This happened as we were both side by side entering the highway. He was blue and I was gone. Another one bites the dust. I thought that they were faster than that.

stock for stock the s2 is slightly faster than the G.

G35 is easier to drive faster, but if the S is driven optimally, it should be slightly faster than the G35 coupe.

Agreed, the S2000 is a tick faster. Mostly a driver's race.

The video showcases a 04 g35, i think the 05 and ups came w/the 298hp motor (correct me if I'm wrong), so it would actually be a different race if you were referring to the newer models w/a slight edge going to the s2k if the driver was in the proper rpm range

even with the infiniti's torque to weight ratio if you can drive u can win its a very heavy coupe

Now im not 100% sure about the "magazine fack's" about this...but in my 04' G35, I have pulled on 3 newer 6 speed (05') G35's... From out the hole to several roll races...I didn't know any of the driver's, so I couldn't tell you if the car was broken in yet or whatever...but my 04' pulls a good car and a half to 2 car lengths from a 40-100 race (same results with 3 different 05' G35's, all street racer's)

From what I've heard also..the the HP goes up, but so does the weight of the new coupe's...and they have like 10-12 Less lbs-ft of torque.

If this is a race on the streets then I say that the G35 will win, correct me if I'm wrong cuz the OP said S2Ki (website) VS G35 coupe (car). If it's a race to see if this website is faster than a G35 then I say the website will win though it does have some slow time.

i have raced my friend's 05 g35 coupe 6speed. In 3rd gear pull, we stayed even till end of 4th, and my s2000 is a stock ap1. I think from a dig, we will win because of the lesser weight

S2k is faster than G35C period..

The TQ is also reduced on the 05+ even thought the HP is increased... so it equals out.. same as the AP1 vs AP2 argument.

The s2k should win hands down.

The S2000 and the G35 shouldn't be considered a drivers race..(with equil driver's anyways)..the only place I would consider them a driver's race would be on the highway..(i.e. 3rd or 4th gear rolls) But anywhere in 1st or 2nd the S will just slowly creap away (given equil drivers)...I've owned both and can tell you 1st hand...The G is just too heavy...The 350Z would be considered a driver's race...
