Arran Meet 5 - 3-6 Aug 2007
CURRENTLY 24 CARS ARE ATTENDING AM5
Firstly for those who want to know more, here's the AM4 review. Movies of AM4 are mentioned on the review thread.
AM4
Secondly, AM5 will be featuring the newly created (in my head), "CAN-OBAN-BALL RUN". This will be a full day's trip on 5th August (the Sunday) to Oban from Lochranza (the mileage will be around 120 for the whole day). The reason for this new feature is:
To give us something to do that's different
To get on some really good quality, twisty and very scenic roads
To encourage more of the Scottish contingent to join us for the day, en route.
The Can-Oban-Ball run will last from around 9.30am to 6pm, returning to Lochranza for the usual barbecue. The ferry trip will cost around

It's in the diary!!!!
I like the sound of the CAN-OBAN-BALL RUN - I always like posing in Oban - I used to live there so that sounds like a brilliant idea to me! Can I go in the scenic group please?

The Oban run will mean we will monopolise the smaller ferry and could be an early start so that everyone gets in the queue okay (you can't book it). But it should be a good day out.
Steven, there is a significant lack of any decent pubs anywhere round here.

Ceri and I fancy a week in Scotland next year and it would be great to come along for this.
We'll hopefully be able to fit this on the front/back end of our own plans.

Blame Gary.
I've just e-mailed to book our accommodation.
The "CAN-OBAN-BALL RUN" sounds like a great idea
How many cars can the Claonig ferry carry?
