this is how my skunk2's used to look like, i had more coils in the rear, the other way the rear sits so low that the headlights are aiming up to high.

Looks perfect...

Soo why do the others put more coils in the rear on their s2000's and wonder why they look funky??

i'm sure they are, but most prefer the rear slammed compared to the front. i think it looks weird.

It seems that "s2k_dre" is correct and most of ya are wrong because I personally contacted Skunk2 and this is what they had to say...

Danny,

Thank you for contacting Skunk2. To answer your question, our
technicians tell us the spring with 8 coils are the ones that go up front but
just make sure they are the thicker coils as well. Thank you again for
contacting Skunk2.

No problem. According to the information given by skunk2 technicians...
8 coils front
9 coils rear

This clearly shows just because everyone installed it a certain way doesn't mean it was correct. Have fun redoing yalls suspension!

I'll post pictures when I switch from tein stechs to skunk2 springs.

I put my skunks on tonight, 9 coils in the rear and 8 in the front. And damn theres a huge difference. Im going to give in another week to seat then get an alignment. Right now as it sits there is a two finger gap in the front and rear. And the car rides really nice. Easyist suspension i have ever done. Took an Hour and a Half...

I'm afraid he was right from the get-go. Most of the cars pictured in this thread looks funny to me because the rear is lower which is bad in so many ways. Install them however you guys wish but I'll install it the CORRECT way according to skunk2 technicians.

th_dontknow.gif Your friend had pm'd me saying they were on backwards the first time.. The rear shouldn't have been so low that it was re-directing your headlight pattern, nor should the front be so low you are tucking tire. I guess these springs are ill-concieved. Oh well...

This is a spring compairison versus the Skunks(NFR) and Espelir(GPW). Keep in mind the NFRs skunks have been on for about 12 hours and the GPWs espelirs have been on for a week... Cant wait for my skunks to settle down and be lower...
