I've maintained a list of items that I'm aware of and I thought it might be of value to other owners, so I thought I would share it.

First I want to make it clear the majority of owners have not experienced any major problems with the Honda S2000. Given the demands put on such a car, it

Very good compilation. I wish I'd had it for someone earlier this week. A few more suggestions for what would make a great faq:

The "bump steer problem" and (missing) "incidence of snap oversteer" become much less of an issue with other high-performance rear tires. Perhaps a sidewall issue accounts for the lack of feedback and progressivity in the stockers. That's one thing I'd add to this very complete list.

Another: The window down window regulator recall.

Another: The seatbelt recall.

One more: Owners should be warned that tires wear out on the inboard sides and very quickly on our cars. You can't just look at the outboard edge and you can't wait a typical amount of miles to check for tire wear. By about 10k miles, the backs are gone.

Lastly: I'm not sure it is clear from your sentence but both the oil fill cap and the oil filter have been found loose on a number of cars.

Thanks for doing the work.

Thanks a lot for this list, I did not know of all of them. I can certainly use this list for things to watch when I get my '02.

Thanks again.

The window regulator was actually recalled? Mine stopped working long ago (window doesn't roll down on drivers side more than an inch when putting top down) but I haven't went in to have it repaired. If it were an actual recall (and not simply a TSB) then it would be much easier to get done.
