Ok it's taken a while and due to many scheduling conflicts etc etc!

As always, there is NO CHARGE to ANY event during this weekend Other than hotel room if needed and what ever goodies you want to contribute Dates June 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2007 Saturday June 2nd Tiki Lagoon 6500 Blue Rock Ct Elk Grove , ca 95758 900AM to 500pm Vendor EXPO, Paint ding and glass repair, detail, audio displays, and other speciality vendors, along with swimming and other entertainment Please call the following vendors to make reservations ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aero colors two crews 916 416-7001 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ D an D Dents 916 532-3291 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Glass Repair Eric Davis 916 392-4045 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ABC detailing two crews Danae 916 532-1314 Lunch pizza provided by the Bay Area Crew!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 500pm on at Tiki Lagoon LUAU!!!! Dinner wil be served at some time during the evening and of course include my world famous tri tip Provided by the Sacramento Crew and Tiki Lagoon!! Tiki Lagoon 6500 Blue Rock Ct Elk Grove , Ca 95758 PLease feel free to bring your swimming attire and towels  Sunday June 3rd 900am Meet at Elk Grove Honda leave promptly at 1000am Proced thru the gold country and over Carson Pass to Kirkwood inn for lunch Full menu, no set price, order what you want  Proceed after lunch to a cruise around Lake Tahoe and over Mt Rose pass at 9500 feet Down into Reno for a stay for one or two nights at the New Grand Sierra Resort (formerly the Hilton) We, of course, have reserved our private parking lot with security Now, for reservations PLEASE call 1-800 648-5080 and ASK for the S2000 CAR CLUB RATE I got them down to $59.00 a night, but you must ask for our car club to get the rate!!! And since I signed all the contracts today, I'm on the hook otherwise!! You may make reservations for both Sunday night as well as Monday night if you want.... Dinner plans to be finalized later.. they have 6 new restaurants now DINNER PLANS Chevys All you can eat fajitas made with marinated skirt steak or their famous aqua negra chicken alos served with La charra beans Mexican rice freash guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and sweet corn tomalito also icludes diet pepsi, sierra mist,mountain dew, mug root beer All For $20.00 icluding tax tip etc...total!!! There will, of course, be a hospitality room party prior to dinner and the world famous bowling tourney afterwards!! The 4th is the drive back through Tahoe. We go around the other side of the lake and stop for lunch at a place RIGHT on the water. |

What would be the best Hotel to stay at for Friday and Saturday night in Elk Grove? Would it be the Holiday Inn that you have on the first map? What kind of rates can you get at the Holiday Inn there?
Is the Comfort Suites in Galt too far away? I am trying to plan to drive down on Friday from Redmond Oregon and then leave Monday Morning from Reno. Brandon, the holiday inn is about a mile from tiki lagoon, look on hotels.com and might find a good rate there...figure on around $100.00 for a suite..with breakfast..galt is about 15 minutes away... and close to the dealer for sunday sendoff..

Blair - FYI - I called around 1pm to book a room at the hotel and they couldn't find the S2000 Car Club Rate. They speculated that maybe the hotel contract hasn't been finalized yet?

It always takes about a week for the reservation department to get caught up. I tried right away the past two years and they can never find it. I try back a week later and it's there. I was going to wait until next week to make my reservation. |

Right on! Thanks for the heads up. I found that the Comfort Suites in Galt is only $88 a night on Priceline. That is the cheapest I could find for a decent place. The Holiday Inn was anywhere from $119 to $149 on all the sites I looked. Brandon |

I just sent in the contract mid week,, so hang loose, I have 25 rooms plus more if we need them...try again next week...we have until may 3rd to confirm...
