I'm think I'm going to have TC Design make me a set of tubular lower control arms. A set of 4 should save between 10-20lbs (maybe more) of unsprung weight.

It would be easier for tony and cheaper for all of us if we can get at least 2 other people who would be interested.

The arms would include new monoball/spherical bearings. Race cars only of course.

Cost will be about 800-1200 per pair. Sorta depends on how much work they end up being.

LOL ... I'm smoking a different go-fast crack pipe these days. Much cheaper for me especially since I can't invest in go-fast parts.

I hate to mention it but feel I must, having seen "engineered" aftermarket suspension components fail at the track. Aftermarket vendors aren't going to be as diligent or as expert as Honda at engineering and life-cycle testing. Anyway, how much does a stock control arm weigh? Consider that only on the order of half of the control arm weight is unsprung (should be quite a bit less than half, since the "big" end is the "sprung mass" end) . 10 lb. reduction in actual unsprung weight savings seems very optimistic, 20 lb. reduction seems impossible.

Anyway, consider exactly what you're getting into when replacing critical, engineered structural elements.

On a dedicated race car this is a must have.
