Registration is now open for 2007 Pittsburgh Import Fusion....Its going to be held at Sandcastle WaterPark this year as they are expecting a much larger crowd of over 200 cars and 5 thousand people.

Date is Saturday August 25 Go To www.PITTSBURGHIMPORTFUSION.com for info and entry and follow the links. Entry Fee is $55 a car.

This is the Biggest import show in Western PA and is well worth going to even if you don't enter your car in.....but we would have one of the nicest group presentations if you guys would enter this year with me.....there is no reason i should be the only S2k there like last year.....this is a great group event for us....and your car can be totally stock to enter(most pretty much are). ALDO, PHIL, DENNIS.......and others.....your cars are already in the running for awards like mine......I took home BEST JDM AFTERMARKET last year and expect more this year. I think i could take BEST MILD HONDA which would be a huge award for me there......Phil you would already be in the running for BEST ACURA and don't even need to clean the damn thing 1 more time!....so come on and be there this year and don't leave me alone!!

Here is your only competitor around here Phil.....this one was NICE! 370 HP

I may do this with you this year, Bill. thumbsup.gif Do you have to leave the car overnight or can it be brought down the same day. That overnight shit was really a PITA when I enterd my Civic a few years ago.

$55 a car......thats about average for a big show.....you'll spend the whole day there and i wouldn't miss this one for anything....hell i just spent $60 on dinner the other night and left hungry......so what can you do for entertainment in Pittsburgh and spend less than $60 and have a blast?? Answer: "Nothing"

Its well worth it and "NO" ALDO......you don't drop off your car....roll in is between 9-noon......show starts at 2pm and lasts until the bikini contest is over around 9-10 at night......its a blast......and the more cars we get there the better time we will have.....ALDO......your car will get a ton of attention believe me.....its show clean already ......convertibles were rare last year and i must of had 20 people ask me if they could sit in mine......ours would look great together and at least we would get a little representation for the s2k's out there......like i said above there are going to be 5k people there!!

That would be great Sam......i didn't think you would want to make the trip over.....me and Aldo took out the 20x20 space.....so if you decide to sign up that is what you want to select......and we will meet the morning of the show and roll in together so we can all get side by side.

Oh yea they do have an award of $500 for the best club representation.....HMMM...i remember last years winner and we are well on our way now to taking the title.....that would rock if we just had a few more cars!

I cant see that rule applying here. The show, I'm pretty sure will be outdoors. At least I hope it is. All the other Import Fusion's were.

glad to see everyone is signing up.....thats great....we'll have a blast this year!

i think that the best club representation last year won with like 4-5 cars......so were going to be in the running for it this year.

as far as the roll in rules......they will probably will be the same as last......even though the show will be outdoors this year the 1/4 tank gas is because of the fire marshall.....they will probably enforce it again for a big show so just make sure you don't fill up before your rolling in.....and i just disconnected my ground terminal with a 10mm wrench i carry with me.....so i will have it for our cars so don't worry about bringing one if they try to enforce that rule.....but that was it.

If this is going to be outside, are we allowed to bring a tent like we used for the car show? That way, we can have a shaded area to sit in. Perhaps, park all the cars around it???

I plan to go. We should have a really nice turnout for this. thumbsup.gif
______________________________________________

I just foound the rules...

CAR ROLL-IN BASIC RULES

Car Roll-In
Car Roll-In is on Saturday between 9 AM and 1 PM. This Roll-In time is firm. What that means is that there will be absolutely NO FRIDAY LOAD-IN! NO EXCEPTIONS!

All cars in the show must:
· Have less than a ¼ tank of gas
· Disconnected battery terminal
· Locked or taped off gas cap

When you check in you will be given two wristbands – one for you and one member of your crew. These wristbands will allow you to get back into the venue if you decide to leave.

Display Vehicles
Cars going in an exhibitor booth, must roll in between 9 AM and 1 PM, or else wait in line with all other cars loading in. If you are entering the show competition and have paid your registration, you will need to see the car show manager to get classified and entered. Please keep in mind that all display cars MUST FIT ENTIRELY inside Exhibitor booth. As a rule, one car will fit per 10x20 booth. Any show vehicles not in a booth will need to follow the standard show roll-in procedures listed under “Car Roll-In.”

Exit
The event is scheduled to end at 9:00 PM THERE WILL BE NO MOVING OF CARS OR ATTEMPTS TO EXIT PRIOR TO THIS TIME!! Once the public safely clears the venue, cars will be allowed to exit.

Electrical Needs
Please let us know ASAP if your display requires electricity.

Your Space

Your vehicle must stay inside the designated taped vehicle areas. Music must be played at a level not to interrupt the business surrounding exhibitors or vehicles. You cannot bring in outside food or beverage into the facility. Any such items brought in will be confiscated and destroyed

_________________________________________________

eek3.gif And your club will start receiving a discount “per car” when 10 or more of your members register!!
The discounts break down as follows:

Price (Car Registration) $55.00 for 10’ x 10’ space / $65 for 20’ x 20’ space

1-9 cars = NO DISCOUNT
10-20 cars = $10.00 off per car
21+ cars = $15.00 off per car

[B]Come on guys...lets try for the $10.00 per car discount. We need 5 more.

Bill had a 10X15 last year and said it was just too small to set up your chairs and stuff. And, he was crammed back in a corner next to some jacked-up truck. He also said that the 20X20 spots were in more prominent locations and just all around better. Worth the xtra jing, imo. Hey Phil, how about big brother NSX making an appearance? thumbsup.gif heart.gif

ya like i told Aldo......its just better for all of us have the 20x20 spots.....we were bumper to bumper in the smaller display room last year

The tent will be awesome Dennis......even if Sandcastle has a giant tent up that we get under.....still bring yours....because with all our cars together were going to attract alot of people.....we could just set the tent up in the middle and just relax there....we can figure that out when we get there. At least were going to make a good showing this year.
