601 whp on the stock block, but with race gas, also a few pulls on the street aswell

yes i believe it is a record for stock block which is quiet amazing,
as for the race logic i am not sure yet have had a few chats and comments from mainly guys with supra's that have alot of power. that had the RL , they had a few problems with it and eventually got it taken off, so its something to ponder |

So what's the planned output for the built motor that you will run long term? 600bhp must surely be too much for any sort of engine life.

the planned output was 650, but who knows, and it will be nice to se what it can do, but i am of the opinion that just because it does 600 i dont have to have it there all the time, so really i cant say until its back and drive it
as far as the built engine goes, i have been told it will last pretty muchas stock will, its built to take nearly 900 whp, there are guys in the states running the same block without the head work that have done 50k, so maybe i wont get the 125k out of this motor but its a trial at the end of the day, pot luck really, as some f20c have gone with alot less miles than my current stock motor, which i have to say is still going, for how much longer who knows, we will proberbly never find out sadly |

oh i think the downpipe is getting replaced with a 3" instead of te current 2.5" downpipe thats currently on now
I am sure there will be more tinkering with the set up over the next few days(week) I just keep watching the vid haha |
