These were obviously opened up and look to be a failed project to me.
I know he was selling these for a friend, but as the seller, you take full responsibility for what you sell. I have sold numerous items for friends(Megan exhaust, AEM EMS, etc. etc.). I was gonna give him maybe 2 days to reply, but he knew what he was selling me. Im not playing any games here!!!!

Amber has been painted red!!!!(very poor job too, paint runs, etc.)

 

WOW, I'm very surprise by this. He is a very good person and very good seller. I'm sure that he will take care of this matter. But again, this is odd.

Well, he seems like a good guy and Im very cautious about who I buy from on here.

however, he must of known the condition of these taillights. I PM'ed him yesterday, I see he has bumped his other FS thread and did not respond to my PM. Im very upset and am not gonna sit by idle and wait days for a reply from him.

There is no excuse for this.

Maybe Veilside never actually saw these tails first hand .............. but that's excuse.

True that is, i saw them once and they looked fine to me. Besides the point ive never had issues with selling things on here and i have plenty of people that can vouch for me including CO's at that. Im surprised you wouldnt see how bad these are if you saw them in person.

I guess I need to take some better pics. There are many water marks, or glue spots? something, I dunno. There are a lot of flecks of red paint and smears too. All on the INSIDE of the lenses. The AMBER turn signal circle lense has been painted red, and it was VERY poorly done. The paint has runs and there are small areas where you can see amber. I wonder if ther are sealed right and leak or not too.




Bottom Line:
I didnt spend $325 for a set of ruined AP2 taillights.

 

straight up. looks like he dont give a F***. thats why im ever so cautious to buy anything of s2ki. even if people can vouch for a seller. i could have a couple friends that could vouch for me. but the thing is those are MY friends and wouldnt give a flying F*** if i were to rip someone off. u know what im sayin. main thing is u have someone take REAL GOOD PIX. of every lil detail. and to make sure its a recent and current picture, have them put a peice of paper with the days date on it. that could help.id also get all his information. IE, number, adress and so on and so forth.

Bottom line is. i hope u can get thing settled. GL
