Default DIY How to Fix O2 CEL

I decided to do a write up since there has been alot of posts on this and one of the current members in our chapter has this issue.
What you need:
Drill
socket and wrench
3/8" bit
7/16" bit
1/2" bit

this is the little boogers you need. they come in a pack of two

this gives you the idea of what to do with the wrench. when you are drilling the fouler out it will be two hott to handle. therefore you must use the socket to hold it while you drill it. Use the smaller bit and work your way up.

The other one you do not drill through so it looks something like this. a before and after if you will

take the one you drilled into and screw it into the one you did not drill

then screw the o2 sensor into the foulers and the foulers into the test pipe. reset ecu and you are good. i will try and post pics once it is installed. this should give you a good generalization of the install.

S2Ki Search - antifouler

either way - I'll sticky the two. I could have sworn the old thread was stickied.

I like your pics better anyway. It's more simple and straight-forward.

Nice work on the DIY.

It was stickied but later dropped. I do agree this one is better for the simple fact all the info is in one post. I had to read the old thread to see what was going on.

Just call it the mechanical O2 sim "remix"
