We kind of highjacked the Raleigh people speak up thread so I wanted to make sure everyone who looked would know that we are putting a meet together.
Saturday February 23rd, 1:00 at the Brier Creek Carolina Ale House. Just a lunch and meet others in the area that love there car as much as I do. My wife doesn't understand so maybe all of you can explain it to her. As I said the more s2k's the better. mlc -------------------- OEM front lip, OEM rear spoiler, OEM MY08 wheels, I think I am an OEM guy.

If not for the fact I was going to be racing the karts at VIR that afternoon, I'd definately be up for meeting some of the Raleigh contingent. . .
I'll keep my eyes open for the next time a meeting gets planned over that way. --------------------     |

I know some of you were asking about how many were coming. It looks like between the two sites there are 10(cars) that should make it and 2 maybe's. There also looks like quit a few wifes will be attending.

^Good luck with that. I remember back when I use to work at a CC roadshop. I once had to work Sat and Sun for 6 months without a weekend day off.

I'm slammed that weekend...but I must share that this is EXCELLENT to see. We once had a semi-strong Raleigh crew and it slowly faded.
 So...great job on getting this organized! I'll make plans to make the next one. Also - folks with S2000s love to get together and _DRIVE_ too.  In fact, I think it's one thing we have that's great with our S2000 Community. I've been to a "few" BMW club meetings and  ...no driving...just talking. What would you say if a non-s2000 showed up? I owned a 2003 Spa for a few years before I traded it last year. I live about 10 minutes away, and wouldn't mind bringing my current car out to meet some local s2k people...

I'd love to have another s2k someday. Currently, I have a 2000 Civic EX.
Oh, and an 06 Exige. I'm sure you Honda guys would rather see the Civic though. |
