Welcome to my build thread! My name is Rob.
I will try to keep this first post updated with recent achievements and the current progress of the build. There is plenty of good discussions and some photos. So take the time and browse through the tread if you want more information regarding certain portions of the build... i.g. my home made flared fenders

Continue to follow my tread as I work to enhance my S2000's characteristics and improve on my driving abilities. I will be heading out to attack as many "local" tracks as I can and I hope to see you there too!
I'd like to thank the late Mr. Hideki Tanabe for building the Powerhouse Amuse S2000 Touge Monster and Best Motoring International for opening my eyes to the wonders of the S2000. I'd also like to thank Mr. maxre.net for his knowledgeable product reviews, track blogs, and generous information as they were very helpful in finally deciding to purchase and build my own track S2000. Big thanks to everyone in the s2ki community for supporting me Thank you!
I hope that at some point in time, I can contribute to the wealth of good & solid information found with the S2000 community as my build and experiences move into a direction I can call my own.

Step One... Flared Fenders!
I asked all around town and no one felt real confident about doing it and the one guy that would attempt it quoted me a price of 3K+ So I figured I would give it a try myself. Besides how hard could it really be
I spent the afternoon shaping the fender with the old hammer and dolly. Worked pretty good too. Although there is a few spots to work on still, but overall I'm surprised it looks as good as it dose Lets not forget that I have never really done anything this intense before
Take a look and let me know what ya think!
Sanding was a real bitch but always helps.

Thanks guys for all of the positive feedback! I thought I bit off more than I could chew too but I wanted to at least give it a try. After working on it a little bit more last night, its damn near perfect! The only thing I'm worried about now is replicating it on the drivers side. That might prove to be the real challenge, you know making them both identical.
Hell, if it goes good I might flare out the rears too
