San Fernando Valley Import Invasion.

There is a hotrod meet every Friday at the Flames BBQ Smokehouse restaurant near Corbin and Plummer (1/4 mile West of the Northridge Fashion Center.) There is usually a bunch of great looking hotrod's with some very nice paint work, not to mention the built motors. (There is even the occasional NSX. )

Most of the people there are true car enthusiasts and enjoy a variety of makes and models... especially if they are cleanly modified (but it's not necessary.)

For some time now I have been thinking that it would be nice to show the iron-heads what the import scene is all about... and that we're just a bunch of really cool people who love our rides.

So... this coming Friday (7/18), let's show off our imports. Everyone is invited.

I remember flames... It used to be import nights on thursday and american muscle on fridays.

Is this every friday or just the 18th?

The hotrods and muscle cars are there every Friday... and have been for quite some time. This is intended to be completely different from the Thursday night meet that used to be in the North end of the K-MART parking lot.

So far, this "Import Invasion" is just this coming Friday (June 18th).

If the turnout is good, I'll schedule more.

 

Those guys hate import car. went there many times with my dad in owr s2ks and the drunk looking-old guy always gave us bad looks.
I live very close by and always used to go.
If a few of us go, ill make it. Im just letting u guys know.

Is this the first time that this is happening ?
Imports get there close to finish @ <9 if any .
Its a good get-together lots of different and cool people are there.

p.s. Are u the yellow SC nsx ?
