ARKANSAS THREE MOUNTAIN TOUR, 28 Sept '08
Shotgunjimmy and I are going to do a route selection (pre-drive) of a planned (central) Arkansas Three Mountain Tour (Mt. Petit Jean, Mt. Nebo, & Mt. Magazine) on Sunday, 7 September. Jimmy, JulieU and I are thinking of holding this S2KI event on Sunday, 14 September with a rain date of Sunday, 28 September. HOW DO THEST TWO DATES WORK FOR YOU S2000 & NSX FOLKS? Sunday, 21 September is out because of a big import car event 20-21 Sept in Tulsa, OK (JulieU is attending that event). FYI, The Fall Boston Mountain Tour is scheduled for November 1, 2008.
The initial plan is for the Start Place for the Arkansas Three Mountain Tour to be at the new restaurant atop of Mt. Petit Jean around noon that Sunday. The (free) Event Registration will be at the restaurant and require driver's to provide proof of valid Driver's License and current Auto Insurance. All drivers and passengers will need to sign a Waiver of Liability form at registration to receive the Driver's Packet. The event drive-out time from Mt. Petit Jean will be determined after the pre-drive, and James and I have determined the event route and actual drive times (including planned stops for photo ops). The event End Place will be the Wiederkehr Village Restaurant & Bar (near Altus, AR). Fadi's and your suggestions and comments about this proposed event are especially welcome during this planning stage!
I hope to see all of you at Fadi's Hot Springs Event on Sunday, 24 August!
