ATTENTION EVERYONE: I RECEIVED A LETTER ON THURSDAY DENYING MY REQUEST TO USE TO PARKING LOT AT STARVED ROCK FOR THE MEET. I WILL LEAVE IT UP TO EVERYONE TO DECIDE WHY WE WERE DENIED USE OF THE LOT. I SPENT THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS SEARCHING AND MAKING PHONE CALLS AND HAVE SECURED THE USE OF ANOTHER STATE PARK JUST 3 MILES SOUTH OF STARVED ROCK. SO WE STILL HAVE VERY CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE 71 CURVES.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT IS COMING SO THAT THEY KNOW THAT THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE, I'M GOING TO ATTEMPT TO HAVE SIGNS UP SO THAT YOU THE ENTRANCE IS MORE VISIBLE.

SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THIS CAUSES ANYONE, I'VE DONE THE BEST I COULD TO GET THE WORD OUT ON THE THREAD AND ELSEWHERE!

Lets get this bigger than last year! We had a good turn out minus the A**hole in the 240 that did the dounuts and got the cops to sit and watch us like hawks. Remember this is a State Park, and conservation cops don't mess around. With the state park thing in mind, there are plenty of open fields for frisbee, football, etc... also people who would like to bring grills are cool as well.

Last year we had somewhere between 100-150 cars, lets make it 200+ this year.

Just as we ended up doing last year, this year will be a "swap meet" as well, if you have stuff to sell, list it up, if you are looking for something, list it up, and bring it to the meet. No better time than with 200+ cars to unload some stuff that's been taking up space and collecting dust!!!
