You know a Password JDM, Mugen or J's snorkle would probably work with this setup and would look sick too.

Very nice start!
Headers will be a b!tc# to make. (Voice of Experience Big V6 into a TR7)
It'll make the motor mounts and wiring seem easy. smile.gif

Did you measure the weight of the LS1 vs the Stock Engine? I'm curious on the expected change in weight distribution.

We're starting this project as well.
http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=657449

The motor is ordered and should be here next week. Stock motor is out, and we're ready to go.

EPS should not be too bad. I'm a EE, so if you need help on that side let me know. I'm not planning on keeping the dash as mine is a racecar though.

I take it you are using the T56 Camaro transmission. What are you doing for the differential. The Puddy diff would be nice, but I;m thinking the Ford 8.8 would be best.

Bill

Pro made headers is a REALLY good idea. They are artists. Me I was a hack at welding tubes. Try to not wrap the header pipes around the steering linkage if possible. But don't sacrifice the steering feel for the headers alone. (As in no crazy angles or joints in the steering shaft.)

The internet says the s2000 engine weighs in at 326 to 348 lbs. The latter is said to be with clutch and manifolds. Probably no accessories like AC compressor / alternator in these numbers

well the LS1 with clutch and fly wheel and fully dressed all accessories weighed in at 492.?? so minus the A/C compressor and power steering pump and some other odds and ends not needed i would say it has lost about 40 lbs so now we are around 452 lbs give or take not to bad 100 lbs diffence like i thought. BTW thanks for the info on the S2000 weight
