post a pic of your rota DPT or torque... i havent seen any floating around on here and i was contemplating ordering a set of DPT in their "17x9 Rota DPT - Matte Bronze (5x100/114.3/e35/73)" +35 all around.. what do you guys think?

or maybe a set of torques if i can find an offset that will leave the face sunken in.. my brother and i have rotas on our sti's and they'r actually nice wheels, good quality knock-offs. and pretty light too.. so i want to buy some for my S now as well.. help me out you wheel gurus.. smile.gif thanks

should be "real friends dont let friends go broke buying rotas with a VOLK sticker on it" tell you what, you go buy some CE28's for $2,000 w/o tires and i'll get my DPT's for $1000 with tires and i'll put on a "volk racing" sticker on ONE spoke and we'll see how many people can tell the difference.

but anyways, my question was will the +35 on a x9 fit under the stock fenders? if it helps any, i'll be buying some shine +10mm front fenders (YES, LOOK AT THAT, ANOTHER REPLICA for 95% cheaper than the "JDM" part that fits better.. WOW!)

Yea they'll fit if you are going to buy front and rear fenders. But it will also depend on your tire size and alignment settings.

p.s. Post it up in the wheel and tire forum next time where you'll get more answers and less bs about what you should do with your money.

assumption makes stupid comment

there's countless people racing/autocrossing rota all over the world, they are cheap but they are not cheaply made. go search around, you dont have to trust my word on this.

when you can't afford a light forged wheels you go for what you can get, i personally will not rock rota but i could careless now about what's the OP going to do.

just don't put a regamaster/works/volks sticker on it lol.gif

if faking the funk is your thing then...more power to you.

people taking other's people's ride sometime way too seriously lol.gif

you should be asking, how will it performans instead of will it fit, technically you can stick a 10mm+ 18x10 in there and there still people claim it fits(despite running more camber than you want to , rubbing and modding the fender to sh-t)

Nothing wrong with buying rotas. You will get more hate for putting a volk sticker on a rota then running a rota. I say get the rotas and rock them as is.

Haha, I love people hating on rotas.

Our 1140 ALL WHEEL HORSEPOWER, 8 second Drag EVO runs on 15" rota slips and they even have holes drilled in them to bolt the tires. The car has done numerous single digit passes and no problems at all. Thats not to take away from other brands, but I think Rotas are good wheel for the money.

Here are some pics and videos to prove it.

All the people that have never even touched a Rota rim let alone tracked one can stuff it. Once you track it and have experience then you feel free to shit talk. Ive seen more oem wheels get ****ed up at the track...so that may say something about the driver. Anyway all the people talking smack, ya cant buy skill. <3

rolleyes.gif

what makes a bmw or benz any more worthy of quality wheels than an S?

the s2000 handles better and looks better than almost any mercedes you can name in it's class, BMW also included.

so, because you pay for a brand, means you should pay equally as much for a brand on your wheels?

gimme a break. the s2000 is one of the classiest, best engineered sports cars ever made. Just a testament that the name "honda" and it's racing heritage, and the fact that (if they want to) can compete and even beat cars like BMWs and Mercedes..... to name only a few.

those didnt break due to defect. That was an impact. Kids a local, and he told us the story on how he lost control and hit a side barrier or something like that.

i didnt know rota made bmw and merc rims? Every car has different price points of rims. I'm sure there are cheaper brands for BMW's and Merc's as well as for VW and Audi's etc...

Sorry but you can actually tell those faking the funk compared to the real ones and that in the end makes you more lame.

There is nothing with buying cheap wheels. If you prefer Rotas then thumbsup.gif to you, but please don't pretend they're volks.

THERE IS A PROBLEM with the ROta company in general making a living off copying other wheels. I cannot see why people still don't understand this.

Pro-Rota supporters ..are you really ok with Kia cars looking like Benz or those Nikke shirts from chinatown? I highly doubt it.
