not many cars turned out but that turned into more runs for everyone. My car was still acting up so Speedy let my drive his S several times. Man it was fun. Makes me sad now. :tear: haha.

Adam, thank you... it was a nice event.. not as many showed up as I had thought might.. which was great for those who did and not so great for the CFRC.. but those who showed up had nearly unlimited runs.. I was surprised to see helmets being wore not only by the S2k representatives but also by other participants... with this being the first outting for the CFRC they were making notes on future modifications an sounds like each one will be alittle bit more then the one before... more cones where needed, better lighting and lap timing... looking forwards to next friday... great to see everyone...

Last night was great fun.

Alot more fun than I thought it was going to be. Imagine a short autocross, against another car, that you dont have to work, and you can get pretty much unlimited runs. Where is the downside?

Maggie and I were there till around 9:30 and got at least 15 runs maybe more.

I got to play with a turbo corvette and took him a few times, he took me a few times too. And Maggie beat me 2-1. I also got to flog on Adams car. All and All I had a blast and so did Mags. There are improvements that need to be made, but I talked to the owner and he has alot of plans for the future. I cannot wait for them to get the timing set up. He said it would be done in a few weeks.

To all the people who didnt show up, YOU MISSED OUT!!!

yeah i got there a little late...from what i saw it looks like alot of fun. a little sketchy at some points like when new people showed up and didnt know the course.

I should be out next friday with other nick.

So Friday was a killer time. Maybe Because there wasn't many people out there!

I think there is room for improvement.

And we appreciate everyone's opinion. The lighting will be improved by next week, The lighting company didn't make it out on time for the previous event but this week should be different.

I agree with the cones! lol, For someone that spun out himself; lol
Talk to the owner, he said there will be much more improvements soon.

As far as the "timing" Timing, won't happen for another week. They just got passed to use the course for Events, and racing.
But they have to wait 15 days before they are permitted to. When using a Stop watch, Technically it's considered racing, therefore we can't time anyone yet.

would you say the track was better for fast cars or handling/driving? cuz the start at least looks like a drag race.

I never got above 65mph on the course. My car is pretty 'fast' in a straight line and I don't think it served me any success. That black s2k with the wing was looking pretty quick through the course.

Yea you cant really pick up speed. My friends TT G35 would get his turbo spooling but than have to brake.

The best car was a MR-S Spyder and an old EF Hatch. haha.

I wont be out this friday. Mags and I have a wedding to go to. But I will deff be in the week after. I am really looking forward to them getting the timing set up.


Your car seemed really fast, were you having problems getting it to spool? I think that course would be hell in a turbo car.
