Good Deal?
I've been reading up on Caymans the past month or so, including archives as a lot of members here moved up from an S2000 to a CS. I finally found one I like and wanted to run the deal by people to make sure it was, in fact, a good one.
The car is a 2006 CS with 12k miles and Certified Pre-Owned until April 2012. It has Xenon lights, Bose Surround, 18" Boxter wheels.
Purchase price would be $34k with 5.75% financing through Porsche.
The car is relatively close, which is also a plus since I can drive it home rather than having to pay for cross country shipping or something. Good deal or can I do better?

It's midnight blue metallic with a tan interior. Normally I don't care for light interiors but it looks pretty classy in this car. Black is preferred and gray makes it look a bit cheap.

Thanks for the quick responses. I actually talked him down another $500. So, pending credit approval, I'll be walking out at $33,500 with 5.75% before taxes.
After reading experiences from Poindexter, Chris S, etc. I'm excited to get into the logical successor to my beloved S2000.

Wow...if I still have a job at the end of the year I may look into a Cayman S as well. Those are crazy low prices for an awesome car.
I'll have to look up some of Poindexter's old posts to see what the downsides are to them.

Dude, no brainer. $33.5k and a good finance rate with 3 years of bumper to bumper warranty. Get it and run the piss out of it enjoying every second.
