That was me. Those Corvettes were FAST. I think they lapped just about everyone on the track in the time we were on the track.

yeah i watched the video and they were seriously dominating... now i see what you mean by a momentum car vs a horsepower car haha... track looks sick tho

Next time put Oldt in an S2000 and see how fast they pass, your likely to see two pissed off Corvette drivers.

As long as there aren't too many straights, vette owners may have a hard time.

Lightning has a little more room for the Vette's to "run" than say Thunderbolt or Summit Point, but Oldt can carry a LOT of speed through the corners where Vette's would have to slow down.

JFO. He's a madman. A bunch of us got to go for a few laps in his car at Pocono last year. It's insanity. Lightning's front straight gives big HP cars some good room to run, but a weak driver can lose a lot of time on turn 1 alone. Turn 2, 3, and 4 are all linked, and 5 is like an easier version of turn 1 (more room to track out). |
