So I was driving on 280S in S.F. the other day. I noticed a beautiful black Ferrari 360 Modena ahead of me. I got on the gas a little to catch up. He had some sexy gold Vs-xx (or something simliar). I was admiring the car and gave the driver a thumbs up.

He gave me a nod and off he went. I guess to show off to his gf riding with him. He had an initial 1 car lead and I decided to drop it into 5th. By the end up fifth I was about 5-6cars ahead and I was still pulling. I slowed down and gave him a thumbs up and he didn't bother looking at me. cool.gif

Last time I dyno'd in at 550whp @ 12psi. I'll be doing a nice writeup soon on my setup.

550WHP at 12 PSI??! I have to admit, I'm looking forward to you write-up! That turbo has got to be rediculously large! Nice kill, though. I've always admired 360's myself, they're just wicked machines.

How the hell do you get anywhere? Why didn't you just fork over the extra cash so you could atleast go clockwise?? Damn, Ford is really cutting back on the options!

Nice kill, it's gotta feel good stomping a ferrari like that.

Joey, I'm pretty sure 317hp would be enough to take down a stock 360. thumbsup.gif

Here's a little info. on my setup;

Asura Design Sidewinder manifold, GT3582R set at 12lbs (but this will be bumped soon), Alaniz head, Laskey Racing Block, Asura Design Exhaust, Asura Design HFC, AEM EMS, limited on RC 750cc injectors(going to change real soon) and probably a few more things...

My next tune I will be shooting for +600whp daily driven.

Who does your tuning?? I want to see the dyno sheet too! LOL. I didn't think that 12psi on a GT42R would produce 550WHP....on a stroked 2.3L evo engine. Sidewinder manifold sounds pretty efficient. smile.gif

Asura did my build and my tuning. Unfortunately, all I got from him during the tune was a printed copy of my dyno. The next time I dyno for more boost I'll have the two dyno's up. Some from the bay area can vouch that these are the #'s but I guess we'll have to wait for the final tune to prove everything.

There is no possible way you are making 550whp on a 35r...much less running a cat! Unless you are running stupid high compression and your not going past 12psi

Pics of said manifold? smile.gif

Is this the Vmount setup that Asura mentioned in another thread? *crosses fingers*

BTW, I once ran a 360 challenge stradalle and pulled ever so slightly on him at around 340-350whp... its always fun to see the look on their face. biggrin.gif
