Just get the mugen ap2 exhaust you won't regret it

I've not heard the Mugen in person, but in sound clips it's not the sound I'm going for.

The Supersprint has a slightly deeper sound. The noise level is about the same compared to the Fujitsubo. I don't notice much of a drone on my Supersprint.

Invidia Q300 doesnt have blue tips.. atleast mine doesnt

and I freaken love my Q300.. it will get SLIGHTLY raspy at times in the low rpm range, and especially so if its cold, but you have an s2k, what the hell are you doing in the low rpms anyways?

Everywhere else it sounds amazing, only drones slightly under heavy load in 5th/6th gear in the lower rpms, but a simple downshift fixes that.

Im never getting rid of this exhaust. I LOVED my old Remus exhaust, but I wanted a sound I thought suited this car better, being a light weight high revving honda, i thought it should sound... well like the Q300.. the Remus had zero rasp, zero drone, very different tone, very low, rumble, was an awesome sound, just didnt want that sound on this car

Hi, I have the Supersprint exhaust without the resonator, it drones a little from 3500 to 4500 but not too much.It sound deep, I like it.

The only problem I have, i had this with stock exhaust too, that when the car gets hot like after 30 min of driving the exhaust sounds like you have ear plugs, like something gets clogged in the exhaust.

Do you guys think that the catalic converter is the problem?

That, my friend, is why they make test pipes.

Who runs converters anymore anyhow...

will solve the problem? Cant run a TP, its illegal in Malta.

Whether the sound is "good" or not is very subjective.
Whether there's a "drone" or not, can also get quite subjective.

It's really not a good idea to hear suggestions of the "sound" by reading what others subjectively point out. The best is to hear it in person if possible.

Some say Mugen sounds great, but I also remember one owner listed it as one of his worst mods ever, with reasons of sounding too stock-like, and making not much power over stock exhaust.

Its illegal in all 50 states as well. But tons of us, including myself run it
Just pay the dude $50 when you get your car inspected, or have hook ups, and dont floor it infront of a cop (he'll smell it) and your golden

Guess im not too thrilled about the SuperSprint... My friend had it on his AP2 (Drive300mph) and although it looked great, it was extremely quiet. In fact, it looked nearly stock. But for the price that was paid, not worth it. IMO. You can only get so much HP gain from an exhaust.
