ya coaches do matter i just dont see mike brown offering as much to a player like james. If james was in a different system who knows the outcome? Brown is not on the level with Jackson, Popovich or George Karl or even Stan van Gundy. I like that van Gundy is in his players faces during the play and timeouts. I think Brown is to hands off...thats all i originally meant and I think James will be fine with or without him.

Yep, Shaq won't make a difference. Only plays like half a season and when he gets tired. He doesn't play d or run the court anymore. It will add a big but subtract two bigs (Joe Smith free agent/ Ben Wallace retiring). Cleveland needs a true 2 guard and of course younger bigs. They are more than a few pieces away. Plus their bench is rough. I don't see LA repeating next year either due to them being a different team with cap space/free agency. It'll be an interesting off season.

I agree, lots of variables on the table. Lots of contracts coming up too for the rockets.

we (astros) are 6 games out of first... and in last place...

i used to follow the astros for the past 8 years, but its just sad to watch them now...
we have so much potential...
we need a manager who can utilize the talent before they all get traded or wither away, like oswalt...
