haha, wow... old school ads from us up there.... hope we can get this changed out soon.

I've completed testing of the management part of the new system and am planning to get it online later this evening unless something goes horribly wrong. Right now it looks like clear sailing.

I've just finishing off a rudimentary sponsor directory to go in the update and then I'll get the promised emails with your account info out. I want to get this wrapped up and out the door today so we can get back to normal.

Sorry, it seems I forgot to write a whole section of code. I've done that now and the new ad management system is online and ready to go.

I'll be sending each sponsor their new login details and other information necessary to login and manage banners one at a time as I go through the sponsor list and tidy up the data.

Right now I have to go to the dentist to be punished but when I get back in about 2 hours I'll start sending out the emails and setting up/verifying your accounts.

Sorry for the problems. I'll work something out with you in terms of compensation once the crisis has passed and you're all setup and running.

I've updated all of the sponsor accounts and everyone should have received their new login information. A very basic sponsor directory is also now available. I'll make it better over the next month or so to add logo display and contact info.

If you haven't received your login instructions by email I might have an old or bogus email address for you. Please email me and let me know and I'll get it out to you at the correct address.

I'll be sending a mass email to discuss the new system and what it offers to all sponsors as soon as I write a "send email to everybody" function, probably tomorrow.

There is no statistics reporting feature as of yet. I had to get this system up and working ASAP so some features had to be passed over due to the urgency. Stats are being collected so as soon as I get the stat viewer written in they will be available through the Sponsorship Center app.

Thanks again for your patience with this problem. I have been and will continue to work hard to smooth out any potholes.

I tried to log on with the new account name and password but I get this.

"Login unsuccessful. No such user or incorrect password"

Sorry for the delay. I've been on vacation for the past two weeks.

Now that I have the multi-byte character conversion done and the search engine fixed for non-english text I'm back on the sponsorship center project.

The first update I have to do is to sort out the billing and subscription management, allowing you to update your payment source (paypal or credit card), change your sponsorship level and pause/resume/cancel your sponsorship. This upgrade includes much better email notifications: about to renew, declined payments, other payment problems, invoice delivery and so on.

It's a fairly complex bit of kit so it will take another 2-3 weeks to get it online and running but it will make the whole sponsorship process simpler, more convenient and more informative to you the sponsor and more efficient and more accurate and timely for us. Win-win. I'm looking forward to it and it has my (almost) complete attention. I'll post an announcement when it is about to be released.

After that I'll get some stats and analytics going for you. I am collecting stats right now so when stats come online you will get all the stats from the time the sponsorship center went online to present.

I hope that is good news, it is for me. I'll see you back here in a couple of weeks when it's announced.
