What you see here is an official JDM F20c from a 2000-2001 silver s2000 that was a rollover victim from Japan. It comes with the complete engine wiring harness, fuse box, chassis wiring harness, gauge cluster (reads now in km/ph but has button for mph), s2000 driveshaft, push button start, ignition device and key, and Spoon ecu. Yes you heard right, a real, authentic spoon ecu that cost $1800 new and is extremely rare now. We got this engine in a JDM front clip that we paid $6000 for (the guy we bought it from didn’t check the ecu). The gauge cluster reads 89,000 kilometers or about 60,000 miles.
We know it is a 2000-2001 model because the spoon ecu only works on years 2000-2001 AP1s. For all of you that don't know, the F20c is no joke. Opposed to the usdm F20c1 the JDM version has an extra 10 horsepower. The spoon ecu is supposed to add another 10-12, meaning this little sucker should put out 265-270 hp at the crank. That’s more then allot of k-pro k20s out here. Also with the 1.82 formula 1 like rod stroke ratio the engine safely revs up to 9k. The price for one of these from a JDM engine distributor is anywhere from $3900-4200. Those don't come with the chassis harness, gauge cluster, the push button start, or the ignition device and key that are all necessary to make the engine run. I will tell you right now, you will never be able to make an F20c run without the chassis harness, and will have a real hard time of it without the key, push button start or the gauge cluster. (There's some circuit in the cluster that allows the engine to run). The usdm ones are cheaper, but good luck attempting to get around those immobilizer disablers without having to waste months and hundreds of dollars sending your ecu to Honda to get it remapped along with a key just to make it run. I want $5500 for everything. That includes the engine and trans ($3900), tuned after market header ($350), interior chassis wiring harness ($300), gauge cluster ($200), spoon ecu ($1800), Driveshaft ($150), push button starter ($50), and the ignition device and matching key ($110). All that stuff when purchased separately costs $6800. I paid over $6000 for it so I'm taking a loss. You’re getting a steal at $5500. I'll consider letting it go without the spoon ecu or drveshaft so inquire about that if you don't want them. I bought all this stuff for an F20c Miata project, but discovered that swapping the aluminum Ls1 and T56 from the Corvette/Camaro/Firebird is actually easier to swap, and yields more power while keeping the proper weight distribution and steering rack location in the Miata. Again comes with -Engine/Trans with shifter/shifter boot 60000 miles -Interior/Engine wiring harness -Spoon ecu -Fuse box -Push Button start -Ignition/Matching key -Gauge Cluster -After Market Header -S2000 Drive Shaft -S2000 radiator -Honda wiring Diagram CD $5500 is a great price. Again it all came from a complete jdm front clip. Serious inquiries only, this is the real deal!! Give me a call, no funny business. I only deal with cash. I have a hoist to get it into a truck or other vehicle. If you want the VIN I’d be happy to give it to you. Its located in NJ call me at 201-606-5279. We will crate it and handle it for free, you pay for shipping in the continental U.S. if necessary!! s2000 engine motor ap1 ap2 f20c f22c1 f22c f20c1 transmission F/SF/T For Sale For Trade |
