So I attended the Hooters of Manchester Meet today.
 A few of us did talk about maybe another meet this fall, soon, lunch and maybe a drive in the Litchfield area. Aspen Garden in Litchfield was mentioned as a good lunch spot. Address below, they have no web site... Aspen Garden Restaurant 51 West St Litchfield, CT 06759-3501 Phone: 860-567-9477 My wife and I had considered going there yesterday (Saturday) but it didn't happen. We ended up going there this evening for dinner, ate outside. It was great, I had a very good calzone, ate only half, to big for one sitting while the wife had a wonderful lamb shank. The prices are reasonable and everthing I've ever had there is very good. Full alcohol is available for those that enjoy a cocktail. So this brings me to ask who would be interested in such a meet?  I'm thinking about as soon as this coming weekend or the next. It would be nice to catch good foliage. We could push it out an additional week but the foliage may be past peak. My wife has church Sundays so she rarely makes a meet so I'd like to gauge who can do Saturdays. If Sundays are better it's no big deal, she's not a big fan any way but it would be nice to get her out to more meets with me. I feel bad when other gals show up and they're the only ones... These aren't just guy meets and I know from personal experience we've got women owners out there! I want everyone to feel welcome and part of the group and fun.I know there are some other meets planned out there so we'll have to check dates to see if any dates would be bad for anyone that may be attending those drives and meets.   Happy Hollowweenies!  Didn't sleep yet so it's still Halloween for me...Still drivin mine and I'm sorry to say it needs washing...  Hasn't gotten rained on or anything horrible like that but way to much brake dust, road grime, bugs and general neglect... Shame on me...  End of season so actually I can classify it under DILLIGAF...  So if and when I get up tomorrow and if the weather gods are smilin' or at least not to angry I may take a drive to Litchfield. I'll try to check in here for interest... Figuring on stopping at: Aspen Garden Restaurant 51 West St Litchfield, CT 06759-3501 Usually stop for at least a coffee... Another good stop, start, meet whatever is LaSalle Market in Collinsville. Ideas, suggestions, interest?  |

Missed the thread, but I took a short drive through Northern New Milford, around Lake Waramaug, to Kent and back. Was brisk.
