Due to the popularity of the Go Tuning Spectrum Elite Dual, Go Tuning Unlimited worked with GReddy again to develop the Spectrum Elite Single Exhaust to satisfy the demands for a more aggressive single exhaust. Designed to have the same refined look with good power gains, the result is a straight 70mm exhaust that produces 9hp at 8001rpm and 5.8 lb-ft at 6256rpm with a lower price point than the dual. The construction is entirely stainless steel with a torched tip and made in Japan. The exhaust fits very well on both AP1 and AP2 bumpers where most exhausts either stick out too much on AP1 bumpers or are too recessed on AP2 bumpers. Due to its straight-through 70mm layout, the Spectrum Elite Single has a louder and bigger tone than the very subtle Spectrum Elite Dual.

Hmmm... I'm not feelin the straight single canister. Looks great as a dual, but looks like something is missing as a single. A 70mm dual exhaust would have been my pick. Of course this is all subjective.

WOW! Perfect! I wonder how the volume compares to the t1r single, or the greddy single. I would assume a little quieter than both of them.

I would imagine fairly heavy for a single, my guess is 27-30lbs.

What's the weight?

The exhaust is just under 28 lbs. The mufflers are rather large and extremely robust piping and hardware is used.

It is quieter than the GReddy 70mm TiC Single but louder than the Spectrum Elite Dual.

The posted numbers for this are lower than that of the dual, but what do the curves look like stacked on one another? The exhaust sounds great by the way! I think it was a good choice to make a single in this system. thumbsup.gif

Seriously considering trading up from my Tanabe Medalion Dual. Wonder how much power that makes? ponder2.gif

Yes, it's about 1hp less than the dual which is pretty much negligible. I will see if I can stack the dyno charts but the curves are about the same. The Spectrum Elite was designed to be a dual so switching it to a single did cost a tiny hp loss. The weight savings will make up for the 1hp loss though!

We haven't tested the Tanabe Dual side by side but it's also hard to compare a dual vs a single. Drone is also something that is very subjective.

Since you have tested the ASM 70mm single, how does the volume compare to that? That is supposedly the quietest 70mm single out there.

Also, is it pretty quiet during light throttle/cruising just like the SE dual?

The 70mm TiC single make a little more power but it is also louder and obviously looks much different.
