i was looking for cars for myself and i found this.
a little expensive but so sexy. im in the same boat as you. im undecided on what to get. i want AWD (plan on driving up to vermont couple times a winter, and other mountains) i want a truck but nothing is really doing it for me with the exception of th Q5 but thats loot. the cherokee is nice, but im not feeling it like i was originally. i hate trying to figure out what kinda car to get next. -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes they do... it's called Symmetrical AWD... From their site... MODELS WITH FOUR-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS – ACTIVE ALL-WHEEL DRIVE: An electronically controlled variable transfer clutch and limited-slip rear differential distribute power to where traction is needed. Sensors monitor parameters such as wheel slippage, throttle position, and braking to help determine torque distribution and direct it to the wheels with optimum traction. I believe Acura uses the same AWD system as Honda, which supposedly isn't that great, but I don't know that from experience. Andre -------------------- Hi... My name is Andre and I'm a VTEC-a-holic. As of now, nothing can beat audi / subaru AWD -- it's just a known fact
It's also why we own 2 subaru's...upstate NY winters can be, uh, interesting --------------------

If you rleasing .. BMW just because they offer great leases.
If buying go anything Honda. Just some of my own personal insight. I drive a 04 G35x AWD and love it!!!! I was just at the dealer today and they had some specials up on the wall but I think they just expired. The coupe actually comes in AWD now as well. Also, my boy has the C-class Mercades with the AWD and its bad ass too. Not as big as my G35 but VERY quiet. Other than that it has nothing over my G. Oh yeah .. he always points out that it has true dual exhaust. LOL --------------------

Sorry but you're wrong. First torque vectoring is a function on transferring torque from left to right not just front to back. Honda's RealTime AWD/VTM-4 (which is merely average) is NOT what Acura uses. The Acura system can not only transfer 100% of the torque being sent to the rear either left or right, it can overdrive the outside wheel by 5% to power you through a corner. Honda and Acura are completely different systems and technology. While Acura doesn't do a good job of marketing it, SH-AWD has been highly praised by the automotive press for its performance during aggressive driving. As for Subaru, their system is brilliant in its robustness and simplicity but I don't think it actually transfers power left to right and it definitely doesn't overdrive any wheel. --------------------

Great vid! I'm going to look around some more go drive some stuff and see what I cna find....I love that new sti really want it, but I think it's a bit out of my budget and when I drove the regular wrx 5 door I wasn't too impressed with the feel, but I'm going to take one out again. The legacy would be ideal but I didn't like the feel of the cockpit. the 328xi so far has had the best feeel to it ,but damn was it dog slow
