Hello all, Will a 17x9 Work wrapped in a 265 tire fit the rear? I've searched and seen plenty of ppl make it work with a 255, but never a 265. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm currently dropped 1/2 inch with a 16kg/mm spring in the rear. Thanks for your help -------------------- |

I mean...only 1/2" ?
You might be able to make it work, but I don't see how without pulling and running srs neg camber. You'd probably have to shave down the inside of the top of your rear bumper lip and relocate those tabs. That being said...why not just run 255 on a 9 wide?? It's pretty much the perfect size... --------------------

255 seems to be the perfect fitment now that i've looked into it more. Originally I was thinking of running a 235/265 staggered setup. It is possible that I go back forced induction and the extra rubber would be nice.

I hear you but...regardless of 10mm width, FI will make those tires scream like a bitch. More worth it to make them fit better imo. |

^ yeah.. When I get the 17x9 wheel I'll find someone who can loan me a 265, and if it's a nightmare to fit then i'd stick to the 255's. Thing is my car is on the stiff side without a big drop, so that might help. Thanks for the guidance
