Default How-To mold your Itouch into your AP2/ DONE

Alrighty guys, Ive been busy with the modding bug for a week or two now and I decided to start on this endeavor. I plan to have it done by the weeks end. I will try and explain all my steps best I can, but please, ask questions if you like.

GOAL: Make a Clean, simple docking station for my 32gig I Touch in the cup-holder lid. Lid will stay 100% function and retract as normal. The Ipod will dock with my headunit when in place.

Supplies:
1 Small can of body filler $10
1 Roll of Aluminum Foil $1.50
1 Roll of quality masking tape $3
1 pair of scissors
1 Ipod USB Cable $20
1 Permanent marker
1 ITouch
1 Pair of Pliers
1 Small phillips head screwdriver.

Alright, pop the center console off and take out the 6 Black Phillips head screws holding the cup holder in place.

And pics, along with the mock location. More Tomorrow...

Alright, I was in-patient... Its done Pics....

Returned the Fiberglass and picked up a can of Bondo, Plastic Body filler... Duh that works better for making plastic!

Overall Verdict... PITA.... But well worth it..
Would be WAY easier with a 2Gen ITouch because its thinner. My Modifry Harness should be here in a day or two So I can put in my new Headunit and hook this all up!

Nice molding, but it seems like that would be extremely dangerous to use while driving since you have to look so far away from the road.
