Default New Owner

Just became the 3rd owner of an '03 Sebring/Red S2000 with 94k miles. Bone stock. Well maintained. Runs like a scalded dog. More fun than the Audi TT my son used to own.

The original owner sold it in August of 2016 to a guy who wanted an S2000 so bad he didn't take into consideration that his height and width weren't a good fit. Literally. One thousand miles and 4 months later, I bought it. The first owner kept a log-book not only of all maintenance, but also every fuel stop: odometer, trip meter, number of gallons, price per gallon, total cost to refuel. The second owner kept it going as will I.

I have one question if anyone can help, re: convertible top treatment. Is there any substantial difference between 303 Fabric Guard and 303 Marine & Recreation Fabric Guard? Thx in advance.

Default New to s2ki

Hows it going? My name is Rob and i live in Alliston Ontario, Canada. I am the proud owner of a 2006 LBP s2000 with a Kraftwerks supercharger kit. I have owned the car for the past 6 years and have loved every minute of it. Bought the car bone stock and 2 years after owning it i decided to start working on it. after a year of really small mods, decided to go with FI and did the big jump to a kraftwerks kit. Makes 430whp and 280wtq. Its a total beast now! Stock these cars are quick but with a little boost they are insane!! Anyways, just thought i would introduce myself and my S. Thanks!

I picked up my first S2000 in October. It's a 2000 Silverstone with a Vortec supercharger. It had 94,700kms when I picked it up. Then it was dropped off at my tuner for a swap from AEM EMS to Hondata KPro. And a few other upgrades.

I've been on here a while now but never formally introduced myself. My name is Alan and back in April I bought a Suzuka blue 2006 s2k after selling my MK6 GTI. I regularly autocross in the Indianapolis area (hence my screen name). If you're in the area and need anything let me know.

Default My 2001 Honda S2000 (I'm sorry for the length)

Hi my name is Kurt, and I drive a 2001 Honda S2000. I traded my 1984 Mazda Rx7 and the spare rx7 for the car in September 2014. The s2000 had 113,xxx miles on it, and it was in really rough shape. It had a carbon fiber hood and trunk that were covered in a thin layer of plasti-dip. It had Rota 17 inch wheels, a test pipe, and the top was torn all over with a huge hole in the plastic windshield.

Here is a picture after I removed the plasti-dip off the hood and trunk (sorry I don't have more photos, they were lost with my previous phone).

After I stored the car for that winter of 2014, I had clear coated the carbon fiber hood and trunk. Added some ESR SR01 wheels (18x8.5 +35 in the front, 18x9.5 +35 in the rear) with hankook ventus v12 tires (235/40R18 in the front, and 255/35R18 in the rear). Just some cheap wheels to replace the wheels that were on there. I changed the stock exhaust for an Invidia q300. I also replaced the soft top, as the previous one I had was leaking a lot.

(I know they're not the best photos in the world, but they get the job done lol)

I took it back out about late spring 2015, and drove it for awhile like that before I replaced the hood and the trunk for OEM ones that I had purchased used and I had them painted. I also added a j's racing front lip.

It was stored in 2015 like that in the fall, and I was unhappy with it looking so plain and like 5 different shades of yellow. I rolled the rear quarter panels, added ASM rear over-fenders and OEM side strakes. I installed an OEM rear spoiler. And had prepped and painted the whole car over in the spring of 2016. Took about 2 months.

The gunmetal s2000 is my brothers, and the other s2000s are some local friends of mine. Sorry for the really long introduction, I just felt that it was long over due as I had this car for a while now and have been a member for about 2 years. This is how my car sits now and he next thing on the to-do list is a motor rebuild. Thanks to anyone who managed to take the time and read this whole introduction, and I'm sorry again for it being so long.
